Personal Care Assistant

1 x post = 35 hours per week, term time only, permanent

1 x post = 13.5 hours per week, term time only, temporary to cover maternity leave

Notts Grade 3 (NJC 05 to NJC 07, £23,500 - £24,294). Actual salary = £19,237.27 - £19887.24 (for 35 hours and £7,420.09 (for 13.5 hours)

Due to planned expansion, we are looking to appoint five personal care assistants.  We are looking for individuals with enthusiasm and energy who can put children and young people at the centre of their work.  At Fountaindale we are passionate that every day matters for children and have our children and families at the heart of everything we do.

Our personal care assistants work as a valued part of the class team to support the physical and emotional wellbeing of our pupils.  The role is varied, active, and above all, rewarding.  Your role will involve promoting pupil independence, supporting pupils with their personal and postural care needs, following individual behaviour management strategies and supporting children to access learning.  Full training will be provided.

Cleaner in Charge

Hours:  24 hours per week.  Hours of work are 2pm until 7pm, Monday to Thursday and 2.30pm to 6.30pm on Friday.  There is flexibility during school holidays ie work your hours to suit between 8am and 4pm.  Term-time only candidates would also be considered.

Salary:  Notts Grade 2, pts 2 – 4  (£22,366.00 pa).  Actual salary = £14,507.68 pa. 

Start date:      As soon as possible

We are looking to recruit a positive, hard-working individual to oversee a small cleaning team that ensure that high standards of hygiene are maintained throughout the school.
