Temporary (linked to funding for individual student)

Hours:   35hrs per week, 45 paid weeks per year

Salary:   Notts Grade 3 NJC points 5 – 7 £23,500 - £24,294, Actual salary = £19, 237.27 - £19,887.24

Start date:   1 July 2024

The Opportunity

We are looking to appoint a personal care assistant with enthusiasm and energy who puts children and young people at the centre of their work.  At Fountaindale we are passionate that every day matters for children and have our children and families at the heart of everything we do.

Our personal care assistants work as a valued part of the class team to support the physical and emotional wellbeing of our pupils.  This role is to support a named individual pupil.   The role is varied, active, and above all, rewarding.  Your role will involve promoting pupil independence, supporting the pupil with their personal and postural care needs and supporting the pupil to access learning.  Full training will be provided.

Hours: 15 hours per week.  Hours of work are 3.30pm until 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.  There is flexibility during school holidays ie work your hours to suit between 8am and 4pm.  Term-time only candidates would also be considered.

Salary:  Notts Grade 1 pt 2, (£22,366.00 pa).  Actual salary = £9.067.30 pa

We are looking to recruit a positive, hard-working individual to join a small cleaning team that ensure that high standards of hygiene are maintained throughout the school.  Our cleaning team are responsible for cleaning offices, classrooms, hygiene suites, toilets, swimming pool changing rooms and shared areas such as the hall, sensory room and food technology room.  The team (which consists of 5 people) are cheerful, hardworking and between them have 61 years of service in this vibrant school.
