At Fountaindale School, we are proud of the positive destinations our pupils move on to when they leave us. Our curriculum is designed to prepare young people for adulthood, helping them develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for their next stage of education and life. As we have a Post-16 area, the majority of our pupils remain with us until they are ready for Post-18 education.

The majority of our pupils progress to Portland College, which is located just a short distance from the school. Throughout their time at Fountaindale, pupils benefit from a range of opportunities to visit the college, take part in transition activities and become familiar with the environment, staff and learning opportunities available. These experiences help to ensure a smooth and successful transition into Post-19 education.
