On Monday 20th April, we held our Rights Respecting School meeting, where students and staff came together to share ideas and plan upcoming events.

We were pleased to welcome our special guest, Ben, to the meeting. We talked about how we are supporting the global goal of Zero Hunger, including our progress with the Great Pea Challenge and plans to collect food for the Trussell Trust.

Students shared lots of exciting ideas for celebrating Nexus’ 10-year anniversary, such as a disco, face painting, dancing, and balloon animals. These ideas will be shared as planning continues.

We also discussed organising a coffee morning, which Hayley and Ben will arrange, and took on new challenges set by Emily and Hayley, including a Pride challenge.
