World of Work: Explore Employment!

A range of exciting visits!

Pupils enjoyed an exciting and informative World of Work Week this March, as visitors from a wide range of professions came into school to share their experiences and inspire children to know about differentcareers.

Throughout the week, pupils had the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals including firefighters, ambulance staff, builders, bus drivers, and members of the Army. Visitors spoke about their day-to-day roles, the skills needed for their jobs, and the importance of teamwork, dedication, and helping others within the community.

The event gave children a valuable insight into the world of work and allowed them to ask questions and take part in engaging activities linked to each profession. Pupils were particularly excited to hear first-hand stories and discover what life is really like in these important roles.

World of Work Week forms an important part of the school’s commitment to broadening pupils’ experiences. The week was a fantastic success, with children leaving inspired and enthusiastic after learning about the many different careers.

We would like to thank all of the visitors who generously gave their time to support the event and help make this year’s World of Work Week such a memorable experience for our pupils.
